When we feel pressured or threatened, we respond by becoming stressed. Therapists can help you in dealing with change in a healthier manner. Stress is a natural mortal response that everyone gets. Your body develops physical and internal responses in response to changes or difficulties (stressors). Stress can be salutary in that it keeps us attentive, motivated, and prepared to avoid peril. A stress response, for illustration, may help your body work harder and stay awake longer if you have an important test coming up.
